Neil's Garage

"We've been through
some things together
With trunks of memories still to come
We found things to do
in stormy weather
Long may you run."
˜Neil Young, "Long May You Run," 1976

Did you know that Canadian-born singer-songwriter Neil Young penned the lyrics to "Long May You Run" as an elegy for a 1948 Buick Roadmaster hearse?

It was his first car, and apparently it was a real bummer when they "missed that shift on the long decline"!

Nowadays, Young's official web site features a section called Neil's Garage. It's a cleverly crafted portal into other parts of his site that reflects the rocker's love affair with vintage automobiles. It even sports a car grille similar to those pictured here, on our Classic Car Side Tear Checks.

And just as a catchy song lyric can take you right back in time, so will the striking images on Classic Car Checks from the Land, Sea & Air collection at CheckAdvantage! Make them yours today!
