"What's your favorite season and why?" the interviewer asked.

She couldn't have anticipated what followed.

"When can you start?" he asked, his right hand extended and a warm bright smile slowly erasing his stone face. "We've been looking for a candidate who doesn't pick favorites, someone who can roll with the punches, who understands the inevitability of change. Welcome aboard!"

Maybe it happened that way, but probably not.
