Owning a dog doesn't just bring happiness into her life, it can give you inspiration and direction too!
That's what happened for artist Kim Crisler. She'd worked as a graphic designer in multiple ad agency, but adopting a Jack Russell Terrier named Lucy gave her new ideas. She often refers to this as becoming the "proud person" of Lucy.
From her newfound friendship, she decided to start a line of designs for her company Gifty Ideas that showed off her four-legged friend on greeting cards and other products.
“I became one of those ‘crazy dog people’ and Lucy became the inspiration behind an entire line of dog inspired greeting cards,” she says.
